Colgate/Irish Spring/Softsoap/Speed Stick: Prices vary
- $3 off your next shopping trip when you purchase $10 of the above
(These are going by shelf price meaning in order to trigger the catalina you only have to spend $10 in shelf prices. For example, Colgate is on sale for $2.50. The shelf price (price when it is not on sale) is $3.99. So you only have to buy 3 Colgate's (a total of $11.97 shelf price) to get the catalina and you will only be paying $7.50 (cuz the sale price is $2.50 each) out of pocket.
*There are a number of deals you could do depending on what coupons you have. This is the deals that I am doing.
Buy 3 Colgate toothpastes ($2.50 sale price, shelf price $3.99)
Use 3 - $.75/1 Colgate toothpaste (5/1 SS)
Out of Pocket: $3
Get $3 on your next order
Final Price: Free!
Buy 3 Colgate toothbrushes ($2.50 sale price, shelf price $3.99)
Use 3 - $.75/1 toothbrush coupon (5/1 SS)
Out of Pocket: $3
Get $3 on your next order
Final Price: Free!
Buy 4 Speed Stick Deo ($2 sale price, shelf price $2.99 (*There are some that are $3.99 shelf price and then you would only have to buy 3 to trigger the catalina, but the ones I want are $2.99 shelf)
Use 4 - $.50/1 coupons (printable from coupons.com and 5/1 SS)
Out of Pocket: $4
Get $3 on your next order
Final Price: $.25 each
**If you are doing more than one catalina deal, don't do them in the same transaction. I've been reading that some people have been having trouble with the register printing more than one catalina per transaction.
Most of these deals were found from OhCherryPicker and SistersShoppingOnAShoestring.

Couponing can be very time consuming and confusing. I hope this blog can be a resource for those who do not have a lot of time to coupon, but still want to take advantage of the good deals each week. I am not going to post every deal that is occurring in the stores, but rather only the ones that I think are a really good deal or a deal that I am taking advantage of. Hopefully this might help you save some time from sorting through all of the deals to find the really good ones. :-)
Thanks Kristen!!!
ReplyDeleteKristen,
ReplyDeleteThis is great! I do some couponing as well. You can also print coupons from www.smartsource.com and www.redplum.com. There is also a site called www.shortcuts.com where you can load ecoupons onto your card. Some might be the same as the Giant Eagle site, but not all of them. So, I'm asumming you find buying the Sunday paper worth it...? I haven't done that yet but have contemplated it. I will be checking out your great deals here! Thanks for doing this!
Monique,
ReplyDeleteI have printed some coupons from those other sites as well. Yes, I find the Sunday paper worth buying. That is where I get most of my coupons. You can find the preview online so you know what coupons are going to be in the paper to see if it is worth buying it for yourself. Coupon inserts are regional though so sometimes not all of the coupons we get are the same as what other people get.
