There are many ways to organize your coupons. The method that I prefer to use is the whole insert method.
I write the date that the insert came out on the front of the insert (if you get inserts sent to you in the direct mail, make sure you use the date that they would normally come out in the paper - you can easily find this by going to www.sundaycouponpreview.com where they list what coupons are in which insert).
Most blogs list the current deals and where to find the coupon such as 4/10 SS (April 10th SmartSource insert).
Using this method, you do need to have a chunk of time where you can sit down, find and clip the coupons.
I do sort the coupons that I print from the internet by category so they are easy to find and stay organized.
